They could of played 1 more season but I for one am glad they are hanging them up while they are still playing very well. Remember Messier in his last few years, God he was awful to watch. Mixed on that. While nice to see them go out on top, it's kind of a painful reminder of what we'll be missing....

Things happen for a reason. Now we know why Brock got injured...so a Sedin can finish their career winning a team scoring title again one last time. One point for Dank on Sat seals it, perhaps Hank can put up 6 pts to go 1, 2. Brock/Elias can own it after that.

33 - 22 face offs Daniel kinda spoiled the numbers kismet with his 23rd goal but then again is there not a more perfect 2-digit number (just better not score on Sat)? Not to mention the significance of their 3rd brother on the team, who appropriately wears 23, and no better guy to get the other assi...

So stoked for the Jays' game ;) . As far as the tank goes the only thing I'd hate is to drop another spot and catch the Wings. Though even if that does happen I'm content with where we're at and hope for a big win tonight with a shitload of goals. Feeling is Dahlin or bust, right?...or if not Dahlin...

Re: GDT: April 3, 2018 3rd last game, ever, for the Twins vs Golden Knights.

Can you imagine what it would do for Jake's confidence if he converted a couple of those great chances he generated on his own; the wrap around, the power move cutting to the net, and rush in OT. Two of those go in and he's sky high...massive boost to head into the offseason with. He's getting close...

Re: GDT: April 3, 2018 3rd last game, ever, for the Twins vs Golden Knights.

It's apparent we're going to continue to suck real bad for at least another 2-3 years. Just hope the kids can make losing fun like they did tonight. Really encouraging that a couple of guys we were ready to write off not so long ago are keeping us interested. Could maybe even add Gaunce in there wit...

Re: GDT: April 3, 2018 3rd last game, ever, for the Twins vs Golden Knights.

Now I get why the Twins chose now to announce. The tank was likely dead anyway but has there been any thought to it in the past 24 hours?? It was the only reason left to pay attention to this final week of games, but now who gives a shit. In fact kinda hoping for the opposite and we win out to send ...

Re: So long, farewell, good bye to the Sedins

While they raise the jerseys they can pull down 12, 16 and 19. ;) Which one of these is not like the other? 10, 12, 19, 16, 22, 33 19 bingo! All the others took me close to the holy grail. I'd maybe take down 12 as well, he got it by default really for being the best player we could boast up ...

Re: So long, farewell, good bye to the Sedins

I was only going to drop one or two posts on this topic and leave it at that but fuck it, this is significant, this is special,..this is damn important (actually kinda disappointed to see only 4 pages so far on this topic). Yesterday was more of a shock to the system because it happened a little soo...

Re: So long, farewell, good bye to the Sedins

I'm old, man....will only pop up on significant occasions, which have been far too few and far too long apart. Still and will always be a diehard Nucklehead watching every single minute, following every move. I check in to CC from time to time to see what past cohorts are thinking and posting..but r...

Re: So long, farewell, good bye to the Sedins

I’m not ready! I'm not ready because the franchise isn't ready. While it was inevitable and really didn't matter when they retire, because it's true the team was never going to move forward until they leave and the kids take over, the reality is the kids simply aren't ready. Bo and Brock are clearl...

Re: 2015-16 Utica Comets

Given the surgery Linden/Benning performed the previous summer, they deserved the benefit of doubt. I wasn't one of those bitching about the moves this summer, mostly because I'm a draftist and taking a step backwards was music to my ears, but it is interesting to see that they had a clear plan for ...

Re: 2015-16 Utica Comets

Bo was 0'fer in his first handful of games in the A as well (though he showed better at camp than Cass)…wouldn't worry too much about the numbers at this point. Shink could be a replacement for Sven but I don't see that happening as long as Jake and Jared are in the line up. With Gaunce in the mix, ...

Re: GDT: 7/10/15 Canucks @ Flames 7pm SN

Good post. I mostly agree with it except (even though I have been saying it myself) there are teams who come out of nowhere to finish strong due to luck, injuries and the hockey gods. I liked what I saw too but it is a long season. True, like the Flames last year. But how often do those teams end u...

Re: GDT: 7/10/15 Canucks @ Flames 7pm SN

Back to the game... What I liked compared to years past, even the Kes years, is skill is apparent throughout the top 3 lines (remember how bad the 2nd line was last year). Takes major pressure off the twins to not have to carry them every night..tho they did again tonight. But that's something they,...
