Re: Offseason Wheelings and Dealings
PK looks like an intensely competitive young man who doesn’t easily settle for mediocrity. Not someone who easily tolerates the likes of Gomez or the Kostitsyn brothers on the club. Not someone smiled upon by a mediocre organization that doesn't want problems highlighted. I like his tude. He got swa...

Re: Arnott
Arnott started last season well, but got burnt out by about Christmas. If he could repeat last year's pre-Christmas performance, it would fit well with the requirement to cover for Kesler while he is out. After that, Arnott may need a break.
But only if Gillis is satisfied with the attitude check.

Re: Offseason Wheelings and Dealings
PK Subban seems to be getting the contract lowball. Could be an offer sheet or trade target.
His yap & tude (on the ice & in the dressing room) may be hurting him.

Re: Arnott
Arnott didn't leave St Louis on good terms.
He was upset about being pulled from the playoffs (after an injury slowed him - further - according to coaches).

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

JVR caught the injury bug last season, but in the prior two he missed only 11 out of 164 games.

Re: Luongo will Waive NTC If Asked To
...Enter Brian Burke or another team or two. I say Burke because it seems as the new leaves ownership does not see another year of failure as an option. .... Pleasing as it would be to see Burke & the laughs flounder yet again, if they offered JVR for Luongo, Gillis should run with it - unless Tall...

Re: Luongo will Waive NTC If Asked To
Well we know the player wasn't Howden. I would imagine there were a few players Gillis had in mind with his pick that he would have taken if they fell. The one that TSN mentioned as a for sure was that if Tinordi was available Gillis would have kept the 2010 pick. The TO Star confirms this, amoung ...

.....I do not want to throw away a good and proven tender for someone who is not felt that pressure they get in Van. Hope they think hard, keep Lou, get a good return on Ginger and stop paying such attention to what may one of the worst hockey medias in the NHL. Your proposal looks good when consid...

As you encounter higher forms of argumentation, you have to expect that your entire argument is open to scrutiny, i.e. the type of source you're citing. Which forms would those be? Re: Nash to the Rangers.
Considering that the above questions the quality of HF, does anyone know a reputable source for guaging young players' potential? Specifically on the trade, while it seems like usually the team getting the best player wins the trade, I think Columbus got pretty good quantity and quality for the ret...
