but don't be a fucking hypocrite and tell me that Marchand is any worse than Kesler Marchand is way worse then Kesler. Kesler may talk a lot on the ice and he has a history of diving but unlike Marchand he doesn't try to hurt people. Kesler plays a clean physical game, he's never been suspended and...

Art Vandelay wrote:The thread is about Horvat why are you guys talking about Brendan Gaunce ?
FWIW the kid is 19 and looks like a decent bet to make team Canada.

It's a bit early to write him off
Who wrote him off?

Re: Canucks select Bo Horvat with the #9 pick

Next year Gaunce will debut in the AHL if he cannot make the big club and the year after that Horvat and Shinkaruk will too. If Gaunce can add quickness to his first step, he will stick. That can be worked on...look at the twins. Once they improved this aspect of their game they started dominating ...

Re: Canucks select Bo Horvat with the #9 pick

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=V1aLKudVKxQ Just a sick play by Horvat. Steals the puck, skate to stick with speed, burns the defenceman on the outside, and just an absolutely fantastic pass from the back hand. 6 points in 3 games so far after an absolutely dominating playoffs...

I dont think Dalpe is waiver exempt and we just gave up a 4th for him, so he won't be getting sent down.

Gotta be Alberts, and given how he's played I doubt anyone picks him up.

Re: Oct 6/13 CNUX @ Lames 5pm Splortsnet and 1040

Gillis waiver wire pick-up Ryan Stanton actually looks like a NHL player and not just some guy none of us had ever heard of before (do we have pro scouts?). Obviously very early but Stanton looks like the first big win for our pro scouts in some time. It isn't easy finding D's that can come in and ...

Eloquent.... usually he sounds arrogant. ;) coughcoughfuckyoublobcoughcoug (smile) As an asside the Sharks don't scare me a hell of a lot BUT they have three big time pivots while Vancouver has a solid 1 -2 and fuck all else . The Sharks probably have three of the top 30 centres in the game.... 4 i...

Re: Predictions for Canucks 2013-14 Season

I think we will be a playoff team this year but mainly because the Kings are slackers and the Ducks, Oilers and Yotes just aren't that good. The Sharks will walk away with it, we will finish well back of them but still in a decent spot. We just aren't the team we once were and it isn't because of ag...

case in point - Sedins - your smallish guys who should not be on the PK - LOL - 6'1" 187lbs and 6'2" 188lbs as opposed to the PK stalwart Alexandre Burrows 6'1" 188lbs So what the fuck are you talking about, whatever it is you sounded eloquent? The difference between the Sedins and Alex Burrows sho...

Topper pretty much nailed the critical areas. I thought Toppers assessment of the new system was ass backwards in a lot of ways, but hey if you sound like you know what you are talking about most will agree with you. LOL Well anyone who calls the Torts defensive system "a more aggressive man to man...

Re: GDT: Canucks at Sharks 7:00PM TSN

Logan Couture can do it all. Couture is what most of us thought Ryan Kesler was during the 2011 season. He is an absolutely complete player. Brent Burns has been an absolute godsend to the Sharks forward group as well. 100% agree. That Shark forward group might turn out to be the best in the West t...

Re: GDT: Canucks at Sharks 7:00PM TSN

Got a good feeling with this group, Dalpe, Richardson, Weber, Stanton, Santorelli, Sestito is exactly what this aging core group who can't score needs to get them back to Lord Stanley. In fairness to the "aging core group" they were the only players keeping their heads above water last night and di...
