Re: Post season wrap up.

I don't get the backing of Hronek's response. The fans are all wondering "was he injured or does he suck?" Exactly as the media said, and asked every player that has sucked lately, they gave him a chance to give some context. Petey was more or less asked the same thing, and while his injury hasn't c...

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

Pay the necessary price to dump Mikheyev. would you give up the 2025 first? No, and I don't believe that will be necessary. What do you think it will cost? It cost us a 2nd last year to offload Dickinson at half the cap hit. Monahan cost a 1st for Calgary to move a higher cap hit, but just 1 year l...

Did anyone else like the death stare and salty response Hronek gave to the scumbag Jeff Patterson? That sawed off little shit is going to get his media credentials yanked again if he doesn’t stay in his own lane.
I'm no Patterson fan, but Hronek dug his own grave there.

Re: Post season wrap up.

And personally I believe they will find a way to re-sign Zads. I liked Zads response to who's its saying he might have priced himself out of Van. Zads basically said he loves it here, his kids love it here, and the media has no idea how much he should be paid Don’t forget, he wanted out of Calgary ...

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

Pay the necessary price to dump Mikheyev. would you give up the 2025 first? Hell no. Give up a 2027 2nd. To Chicago or San Jose. Throw in a prospect. Man a 2nd is still a lot. Our prospect pool is thin and those picks are value at the trade deadline. That 2nd to unload Dickinson hurts.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 23-24 Playoff Edition

Or all of the above? Or none of the above and he's a warrior who plays through pain and the coaches had to respect that. Kessler was in the media a few years back talking about what the culture is like of the outside pressure to play through injuries and the will of the player themselves to not wan...

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

The Russian hurt his knee a year ago - and was an ACL injury that required surgery. Sometimes it takes a year or so for a player to get back up to speed - if he doesn't get hurt again - and that is a big IF, maybe we see some of his speed back this year after a healthy summer of training? It will n...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 23-24 Playoff Edition

Elias Pettersson says he's been playing with a bad knee since January. So in January, it was pretty much confirmed we would be in the playoffs, and they didn't rest him..... This is both great and frustrating to hear. I stick by my thoughts from the other week that it was both a physical injury and...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Allvin should see if Ottawa will listen on a deal centered around Hronek (sign-and-trade) for Quinn's pal Brady Tkachuk. Sens have a rookie GM, terrible defense (and aren't scared of offering $8m with term to mid defensemen), Canucks need a scoring forward with a nasty streak. Whats the plan for th...

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

I'd be looking to move Mikheyev for a similar white elephant player on the blueline, I don't really know who that is though. There are a few guys out there with similar money and identical term on teams that are probably looking to make changes.. Leddy in St Louis, Jensen and Trevor van Riemsdyk in...

Re: Post season wrap up.

HW's take. I like this plan for D and think that would be solid. I'd like to keep Blueger but understand he may ask too much. I think we all want to keep Lindholm but same issue as Blueger. If we keep Lindholm, you've got to have him in the top 6. No more of this third line center business. We need...
