Re: Rebooted Around the League - 23/24

Utah narrowed down the list to 6 names: https://twitter.com/reporterchris/status/1798747898110415348?s=61&t=b-dXvvGaOpWOypyDSQEYrQ Mountaineers didn't make it. :( None of those names sound very good IMO. not great for marketing either. and jfc don't call it HC, this isn't the league for that.

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

Willander is our only RD with a potential of 1st pairing. We have no one else. Mcward... very maybe. I like Willander but he's shown nothing to think he's a shoe in to be a #2 D and just needs some time.. we all penciled in Podz in our top 6 for years and that hasn't remotely panned out, as one exam...

I was referring to Megs first post he was quoting from some website having Lindholm at 6.7mil x 5 years, not the Athletic one

again not that I think he'll go for that..

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

Lindhholm will not get less than $7 million per year. I could see a team forking $8 million per year with term for him. If you’re a team with pour centre depth with lots of cap room would you not? I would, but centre ice isn’t our problem and cap is. Yup. Hey, I wasn't saying I thought he'd get 6.7...

Lindholm @ 6.7 x 5 - sign me up!

but if it's the 7.9 x 7 from the Athletic.. no thanks

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

We had a lot of our bottom 9 forwards punching above their weight this year too at least at the start of the year, giving us a big points cushion.. some will leave and others will likely not be as great.. I expect unless we make some major trade that changes everything, we are looking more at being ...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Necas would be great on our team but he'd be an 8+mil player. how would we fit that in? I think it was Canucksarmy who had on a Hurricanes reporter who said they wouldn't trade Necas for Hronek.. They like Necas but can't afford him.. why would they trade for another RFA who's about to get paid? Ide...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

The New York Islanders have acquired a first-round pick (#20) and two second-round picks (#54 and #61) in the 2024 NHL Draft from the Chicago Blackhawks, in exchange for the team’s first-round pick (#18) and second-round pick (#50). Interesting this one baffled me. what possible reason did they hav...

Re: Post season wrap up.

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree Hronek with his arms crossed and head down, angry face, before the question is even asked. You can practically see the steam coming out of his ears. His answer is snarky and hostile before Patterson doubles down. Patterson is a dick always but acting like Hronek...

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

What about Hronek to the Crackpipes for Adam Larsson and Brandon Tanev? Allows the team to cut Joshua loose. Francis obviously has a relationship with JR. Yes Tanev isn’t as big as Dakota, but he is an elite defensive player and can pk. Replace Dakota’s size throughout the lineup. You can likely ex...

Re: Post season wrap up.

I don't get the backing of Hronek's response. The fans are all wondering "was he injured or does he suck?" Exactly as the media said, and asked every player that has sucked lately, they gave him a chance to give some context. Petey was more or less asked the same thing, and while his injury hasn't ...

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

Pay the necessary price to dump Mikheyev. would you give up the 2025 first? No, and I don't believe that will be necessary. What do you think it will cost? It cost us a 2nd last year to offload Dickinson at half the cap hit. Monahan cost a 1st for Calgary to move a higher cap hit, but just 1 year l...

Did anyone else like the death stare and salty response Hronek gave to the scumbag Jeff Patterson? That sawed off little shit is going to get his media credentials yanked again if he doesn’t stay in his own lane.
I'm no Patterson fan, but Hronek dug his own grave there.
