Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

The Canucks LW depth begins with a third liner at best Leivo and goes downhill from there. Current depth chart is something like: Leivo > Roussel > Eriksson > Granlund > Schaller > Goldobin > a potentially retiring Baertschi > a bag of used hockey pucks I’m unsure where Spooner fits in when competi...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Canucks acquire Ryan Spooner from EDM for Sam Gagne JIm Benning is great at drafting !! Right now, I'd like to see a little less moving pricey scrubs around and something that would help the team long term. meh, whats the point of these deals? scrub for scrub, was hoping Canucks were done doing shi...

Watch Philly put McKenna on waivers now, lol.
Sorry for my lack of knowledge here, but Canucks would have first right of refusal if they did, right? And they'd take him and be able to send him directly to Utica without having to clear again?

Re: The "ALL HOCKEY / NO BS" hockey talk thread

Or do nothing so we can have this conversation again this time next year, but instead of Karlsson, we're debating on Josi and Barrie.

Re: The "ALL HOCKEY / NO BS" hockey talk thread

Signing an elite dman should be the priority. Markstrom stole that game last night, but the Flames were all over the Canucks. They had someone cherry picking all night (Gaudreau a lot). They can afford to because the defenceman on that team are good enough to get the puck to that forward up the ice ...

Re: The "ALL HOCKEY / NO BS" hockey talk thread

It was time to pass the torch, like Mario to Crosby. Sedins -> Petey Mario played 26 games with Sid in his rookie season Horvat is on pace for 64 points. Boeser is on pace 55 and will end up missing 20 games..... so no they wouldn’t be. Sorry, you are right - they'd be 4 + 5 in scoring based on poi...

Re: The "ALL HOCKEY / NO BS" hockey talk thread

I heard the Courtnalls are thinking of coming back I;m shocked that no one has mentioned a Bryan Allan defenceman Oh c'mon y'bastaads (on purpose Reef  ) the twins are just freshly retired! They're only 38, played in the NHL just 10 months ago, and are fitness nuts. Don't make me say they WIL...

Re: The "ALL HOCKEY / NO BS" hockey talk thread

Should the Sedins come out of retirement if the Canucks are playoff bound? Throw Petey on the right side with the Twins? I would love to see this... but I highly doubt it happens. I posted a similar question in another thread and got blasted for it. If they had retired in the postseason, I think it...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Wonder if NYI would swap Goldy for Ho-Sang. Two projects that could get a fresh start on new teams. Ho-Sang has nice hands and speed, would look nice with either Bo or EP. His apparent attitude is the issue. Don't know much more about him. Yeah, that would be an interesting swap. Just found this ar...

If the Canucks are within sniffing distance of a playoff spot, or already in one at the trade deadline, nobody is getting moved.
