I see what you mean, but that can be over generalizing.

To play devil's advocate, maybe Petey wants to block shots so he gets injured and has time to be with his girlfriend?

Re: The Petey Predicament

While the sentiments regarding a wished for outcome are a bit strong in the dark side of the force.....I think Matheson's hit is the quintessential example of why some of us have never been a fan of this guy. I have NEVER seen a player get rag doll tossed like that before. He was borderline KO'd ...

Re: Draft Lottery Destiny

During the day yesterday, I sent a text to my fantasy hockey group (who were soliciting predictions) and I said, "It will be Toronto. And if I am wrong, its the Rangers. But I'm not wrong." I wish I had posted that prediction here. Of course, I sent this because conspiracies are fun. And you know ...

San Jose will take Reid and Stenberg will fall to the Canucks. Despite what Greer said about BPA.

Toronto winning is like a big dump taken on us.

Thanks Corn. I suppose there's not a lot more to say about Petey other than we'll all have to wait and see (kind of like we have been).

Yes I forgot to mention the media. They too are a part of the blame.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

A player gets the ultimate say on what they sign for. The agent just negotiated and tries to squeeze for more. An agent is obligated to take contract offers back to their client, the only time they don’t have to do this is when the player has already told them that the answer to $X is “no”. M ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Petey is such a polarizing player. If management hadn't rushed into signing him until the off season they could have made a case for a lower number. Elias stated repeatedly that he didn't want to make a deal until then. But the pressure was on. Between his agent and management ... they are a big ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrJQoTwoXrk Quinn looks so relaxed/relieved. He really wanted out. I saw an arrogance in him I never saw before. Sure sounds like he will give Minnesota a serious chance to extend him. I don’t like him for leaving me!!! Outta curiosity Wids, what did you think was a ...

They have to pump Kampf’s tires to get that elusive 6th rounder at the deadline.
An elusive 6th like Pavel.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Strange that it's December and both Mancini and Dpetey are in the AHL and Willander is up with the big club. Especially when Tom showed he needed a little more cooking at the start of the season. Though he always had a higher ceiling than the other two. Good for him. All three are great prospects ...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Is it really out of the realm that Jersey trades Jack Hughes? He ain’t the most durable. Luke is…ok… I suppose. The more I look at it, Petey and Willander for Jack and Luke Hughes is close to a wash. We might have to top it up but not by much. That's what I've been thinking. I am a Petey hopeful, bu ...
