Re: Career milestones 2018/19

I was always a fan of the 40 goal 200 penalty minute club guys like Al Secord. He did it twice in his career. Right... and most recently in the 85/86 season. :look: Bertuzzi had 46 goals and 144 penalty minutes in 03-04......needed just a wee wafer moore Shanahan did once or twice. Probably flirted...

Demko appears to be getting more comfortable on the big stage, no really noticeable alarm bells there; positive; Horvat is finally starting to look happier and more himself, would appear the confidence, (swagger), is returning; Edler: Hero or Zero? After all the smoke clears, I gotta say hero. 8-) ...

Re: Career milestones 2018/19

Not sure there is a place in the league for the Odjick type of players any more. If he can skate, there is a spot on my team for him. They are now called "Reeves/Wilson" type of players Only two players in the league have been north of 200 PIM in a season in the padt five seasons; Steve Downie, 248...

All is as it should be in Per's world. Swedes now hold every canucks franchise record.
Skål!
:drink:
Except penalty minutes
And goalie stats.

Marx has improved a lot this season, but Luongo is still by far the best goalie the franchise has seen.

Re: Canucks @ Stars. 4 pm

If he were poke checking, his body would be moving forward and reaching towards the puck. His body is moving backwards and laterally. Yeah. I could possibly have bought it if the stick touched the puck before leaving the hand, but it doesn't. He clearly throws the stick at the puck, and it has alre...

Re: Canucks @ Stars. 4 pm

Jeff Paterson @patersonjeff via email, #NHL has responded to my request for an explanation on Khudobin vs Pettersson penalty shot in last #Canucks game Basically told him it was a hockey play where in attempting to poke check he inadvertently lost control of his stick. He didn’t throw the stick. Th...

The people in the war room should not get paid, as they were obviously not on the job! https://pbs.twimg.com/tweet_video_thumb/D15nHTdUgAAsJ4m.jpg As for Petey, according to Swedish papers he thought he had been poke checked, just like the refs thought, till he saw the video. I mean, the stic...

Re: CC Random thread

IMPO you guys are whack if you don't think terrorists could get banned assault weapons into New Zealand... Not saying that it would be impossible, just hard. I mean a terrorist organisation like al qaida could probably pull it off by using Saudi or Pakistani diplomats to smuggle them or by bribing ...

Re: CC Random thread

Nope, a terrorist will always get his or her assault weapons, gun laws be damned. Have you ever looked at a map to see where NZ is situated? Your argument has some logic to it when discussing eg the US or Canada. It is far easier to restrict access to something on an island. Especially if it's at t...
