Definitely two different games played last night by each team, but especially the Canucks. The majority of the first couple periods was excellent. An extension of their effort against the Kings, but against a better team. The Miller line was driving play, Cole and Soucy were having outstanding games...

Ummm, I think LA was out coached. Getting the team to sit back and take their time setting up when there was no forechecking was very effective. Nice win. They played like a team that was getting overmatched from the skill and speed perspective and did a good job that with the modern trap and turni...

Other. Hronek. I don't think people understand how much of the team's improvement can be traced to this player. Only difference is it was expected of Hronek.. no? Was it? I don’t think anyone expected this level of performance from him or understood how much the Canucks needed a second mobile defen...

Curious to see what the carbon tax has on inflation either directly or indirectly. Seems it is impacting farmers at all different levels which then has a direct impact on the price of our food. Not a stats guy but it most have a fairly significant impact and attributes to the higher costs we see at...

. We give up the low-value assembly line jobs and move on to more high-value work like design and engineering. While the bum camps grow and grow in the shadow of the glass towers... The failure of immigration in our society stems from the idea that we should be accepting and even bend over backward...

I was thinking the ceiling for Lindholm was the return for Horvat. This deal is similar to that, but the first is worse, there’s an extra prospect thrown in who is unlikely to amount to much, and the salary player moved to make it work is a better player. Like Beauvillier last year, it wouldn’t shoc...

if I were Lafferty's agent, I don't see that "substantial raise" and I tell him the story of Tyler Motte.....) Smaller doods like Motte will generally get passed over and overlooked during free agencey because teams always covet the size. Motte has been farting around the summers and doesn't get a ...

Re: Canucks Young Guns
Lafferty and Joshua are due substantial raises as pending UFA. Hoglander has another year at a modest cap hit. Dakota and Sam are also a few years older and much further in their development. Cap space always matters. Always. I could care less about the size of the player. Give me a good hard worki...

It could be she passed out and they were all there but someone or more had a fiddle Girls need to have better situational awareness out in the world these days. Going to a hotel room with anyone as a teenager is a major red flag Would you be bumping your gums like this if it was your daughter? Both...

If the Devils fall further out of the playoffs and become sellers, they might take a flyer on Kuzmenko for next season and the Canucks first round pick for UFAs LW Tyler Toffoli and UFA RHD Colin Miller. They should both fit under the cap with Kuzmenko’s contract moving out. We know Toffoli fits. H...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 23-24
Outrageous Quinn Hughes stat of the day.. 7 defensemen have between 30 and 40 minutes of puck on stick possession in the offensive zone this season. (Makar, Josi, Bouchard, Karlsson, Matheson, Fox and Dahlin). No d-man is in the 40’s. Quinn Hughes = 54:27. Why does Quinn need so much more offensive...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 23-24
[stuff about the second line] Has scoring been a problem since the lotto line was reunited? No. How about defense? No, not really. Will the lotto line just be the line over the course of the next 40 games and into the postseason? Unlikely. Things shuffle when there's struggle or stagnation. I think...
