Re: Canucks News and Notes 2017-2018

https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/hockey/news/canucks-loui-eriksson-not-traveling-with-team/ Does anyone know yet who got the call from the farm? Due to cap issues they are expected to announce recall at end of business today. Speculation is it will be either Megna or Chaput. Part of the reason is ...

Re: Canucks News and Notes 2017-2018

As excited as I am about Brock’s preseason I do think his development would benefit from at least some playing time in the AHL. Let’s see how he handles the daily grind of professional hockey in a lower-pressure environment before putting the spotlight squarely on him. Virtanen makes the team ahead ...

Re: Canucks News and Notes 2017-2018

Key assets to increase value this season is Granlund + Baertschi (if they can score 20+ goals each - their value goes up) If they can score 20+ goals each why would you trade them? They aren't even in their prime yet. You have to look at the bigger picture, it's the Chicago Blackhawks & Anaheim Duc...

Umm, it was actually a 'compressed teryon beam' Picard was shot with. If you're going to be a nerd, then you might as well nerd right.

Now excuse me while I go have a wank to some Jadzia Dax fan fiction.

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

I always got this vibe that "Johnny Hockey" was a wanker. Now that he's trademarked his idiotic nickname I think it's safe to say that there is no longer any doubt. It's so fucking ridiculous that I'll bet even Patrick Kane is thinking "Wow, what a douche-tacular move by a real douche-canoe!"

How about I give updates on my NHL 15 CHL player? There's no way anyone has talked about that subject yet!

Ha! You should be! You have the right attitude for this place. ;) I tend to find my views on this team to be in-line with a few other posters here(who post more than can be considered healthy). Also, considering the time difference(Sydney), it's rare that something hasn't been said on any given sub...

That's ludicrous. Gay men are very good at both pitching and catching. You really can't discount a gay man's ability to handle balls.

Re: Kesler traded to Anaheim!

I've loved the game that he brought to the Canucks but he always seemed to me the ultimate douchebag. I've secretly always wanted him to get KTFO even when he was playing for us. I want to see him hit so hard that he's wobbly. Think Mitchell on Toews or Stevens on Francis kinda hit. Maybe it's his ...

Re: Kesler traded to Anaheim!

I've always wanted to take the high road when it came to players leaving. I understood Bure's reasoning for wanting to leave(who wouldn't want to leave the clusterfuck that was the Canucks and Mike Keanan). By the time Burke came in there was no mending the rift between Bure and the organisation. I ...
