Re: February OOTS

Starting to hear a lot of criticisms regarding McDavid, one dimensional game, only affective at top speed, nobody can play with him, attitude problem, arrogant, not good in his own zone. Leaves his zone early. Translation? Pavel Bure. Not good if you are a centre. Like I said before, Matthews is mo...

Even a 3rd would be great.
Definitely. Just speculating that Philly could follow out of the playoff picture without goaltending. So they might pay more of a premium. From any other team I can’t see the asking price being more than a 4th.

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 17-18 Sponsored by SKYO

Well the Flyers just lost Neuvirth for a while, and Elliot is sidelined for another few weeks. Does Benning have a trade partner in Philadelphia for Nilsson? There aren’t a ton of goalies out there with any kind of NHL experience. Considering where the Flyers are at in the standings, and what Nilsso...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Horton was LTIR BEFORE he got traded to the Leafs. How is that cheating? Should it count against the cap? It did not for Columbus. Lupul will never play hockey again he is in such bad shape. He recently admitted this in his own words months after that tweet that you are putting so much stock into. ...

Re: Elephant in the Room - Trade the Sedins

Well even Stamkos waiting till last second to sign with TBL coupla years ago, and the same will hold true with Tavares, all-stars don't have to think about next season's contract until after the season is done, it's their right and choice yo! There's a huge difference between 26 year old Steven Sta...

Oh well. Brock WILL break Pavel's rookie goal record.

Book it.

Greener won't be happy with Goldobin on that play.
That wasn't Goldobin's fault. What's he supposed to do when Stecher feeds him a 70mph slap pass right into the skates in his own zone?

5 mins into the 2nd period and they talked about a shutout.... stunned fucks
And that's why.

Stecher should be benched for the rest of the game. What was he thinking with that rifle pass into Goldobin's skates there.

Re: GDT 17-02-18: Canucks vs Bruins - this could be ugly.

Good non-call. No way Rask could have butt-scooted back into position. That can't be Bearcheese's goal. Brock gets another taken away from him. It is Boeser's goal. Watch again. Hits the Bruin player's stick not Boeser's. Brock is RHS, it was the lefty that tapped it as he was trying to tie Brock up.

SKYO buddy, this one is for you. :P I'll start by running with your Washington deal and taking it further. If they have interest in Hutton, and have lost interest in Burakovsky and just want to be rid of him, then Hutton + Gagner for Burakovsky + Beagle. I would also see what it would take to get To...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

0.38 ppg works out to 31 points per 82 game season. 0.50 ppg works out to 41 points per 82 game season. It's exactly what Blobcat said..... Is 50 points over 82 games better than 33 points over 82 games ? Is 41 points a year better than 31 points a year ? Which ones are better numbers ? I'm not sure...

GDT 17-02-18: Canucks vs Bruins - this could be ugly.

Bruins in town. Probably the hottest team in the league since Christmas. Chalk this up as painful right now. Not hoping for more than Boeser to put up a few points and some of our trade bait to impress. Rumour a week or so ago was Bruins had interest in Hutton, so maybe he can set Boeser up for 2 or...

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

Apologies, this is still off-topic, but See, I was bugging our friend Bubbles about his condescending tone towards the guy who makes 40 times what he makes. I tried to look up what Benning makes, but couldn't find it. Does anybody here know ? All in good fun, gosh you're spritzy tonight Clifford, w...

Re: The Bubbles and Dud review every GM move thread

Lucic recently slipped below that level. Erikssons totals are lifted by EN goals. Lucic plays a heavy game and is an intimidating presence. Eriksson plays as though he was 140 pounds and is often terrified of contact. The funny thing is we could really use what Lucic brings, and the Oilers could pr...
