Re: GDT: 21/02/19; Coyotes vs Canucks; 7pm; SPNPT

Boeser was gassed and quit out there. It started from who? Lil' Trojan Boeser and Pettersson we’re heading to the bench but stayed when Stetcher got the puck and began to transition. Then they got caught. They needed to head off. It was selfish. They’ve done it before on OT and once it worked and t...

Pettersson threw a nice hit there. I love how he chases down his turnovers.

Perspective:

The most wins Markstrom has had in a season is 22. He has 22 now. For us to make the playoffs he will have to have 30++ wins.

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Michael Leighton Cleared waivers, now Utica’s starter. As soon as he cleared Philly put McKenna on waivers, he cleared today. Philly held onto him hoping for a pick. Good on Benning turning elsewhere rather than be squeezed. Ya it resulted in having to start Dipietro but I’d rather he gave up our 7...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Agree. Two years on Edler at a rich contract, or more than two at chump change with not trade protection. If that is not acceptable he should move on at the trade deadline. If he hasn't signed or waived his NTC by the trade deadline, I'd take the offer offer of the table and not sign him in the sum...

Silfverberg signs a new contract with the Ducks, 5 years at 5.25 per annum.

I work in the same office as his brother. I think he earns less than that... :|
Hard not to like that deal though.

Re: Closing out the season (2018/19)

If they are one round and done they’d be picking about 16-18th? I think learning to win is huge. I think developing team chemistry in a playoff push is huge. It’s all about building confidence and belief. I’m under no illusions. If we make the playoffs and are still saddled with injuries to Tanev an...

Canucks sign Michael Leighton to a two way deal; https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/canucks-sign-michael-leighton-two-way-deal/ Yeah but what are the odds that Philly picks him up on waivers???? You never can have enough goalies, and they only have 4 with the team right now!! (FYI - signing him me...

Re: LOL

The only Benning trade I was instantly unhappy with was the Forsling trade, even though I understood the reasoning. I was disappointed in the Kesler return but couldn't fault Benning. I was disappointed in the Garrison return but couldn't fault Benning. I was real happy with the Gudbranson trade. I...
