Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Small Euro scorer who thrived on big ice with lots of room but isn't seeing it translate over to the North American rink. It's not a stretch to say he won't pan out as a top-6 NHL forward. Happens all the time. In fact it is far more likely that he will bust than that he will succeed at the NHL ...

Re: 2025 Canucks Off-season

The re-signings tell me that they're interested in keeping the chemistry in the room. Certainly goes a long way in showing the "issues" were largely JTM and a tonne of Media-Driven BS. Everyone else wants to play together, and re-signed. I would say BB took a bit of a discount to do it to.

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Petey would have change to be able to be on a MCKinnen team. He’s a dog who runs a controlled locker room and expects everyone to adhere to on and off ice habits. Has been known to get on a player whose eating habits it’s he believes are not conducive to winning. Not saying this as a negative just t ...

Re: CC Random thread

No idea where to put this. The lab picked rhe furthest corner of the park and left his chocolates. I tried to ignore it but he had to kick 20 times and start barking. A Korean couple asked if was going to coean it up. I said I speaka no English and have the gout. Lesson here. Pick up your dog's ...

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26

Seeing it is their 1sts (16th and 17th) Looks like the Isle is going full teardown rebuild. Wonder if it would be the case if they didn't win the lottery. Should we go knocking so they can go Boston circa 2014 and select three 1st's in a row?? They just moved out a 25 yo..Bo and Barz are over 28 ...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

I can kind of see it if Bryam can play RD but I think he is a LD. Don't mind the Canucks moving out those assets but to me you would hope they would bring back a, youngish, 2/3rd line winger. Wow, for some reason I thought he was a RD. That makes it even stranger - to play behind Quinn and M-Petey ...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Rumour that the Canucks are trying to work out a trade for Bryam. Apparently the 15th OA is offered up and the Sabres want a top D prospect coming back plus a bottom 6 player. My question is, why bother? The D looks quite set and having some of those guys on ELC will be vital for the Canucks, cap ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Conor Garland at 6x6mil - good piece, decent PK, 1st on pucks etc. But for six more years? Hopefully they find some size to go with him, with some of these players signed to long term contracts it is going to be tough to get bigger/faster etc. for when they are competitive to make the playoffs each ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Agreed - I think this is making the best of the situation. No good options in free agency, not much help coming from the farm, every trade partner seems to be asking for Willander/D.Petey + 15th OA. Steep price to pay. Next year a much better UFA crop, perhaps more sellers... good stop gap. Like the ...

Haha, funny to see PDG flip off some people in that crowd, while Arty was getting the MVP trophy.

Congrats Abby - hopefully this is a big next step for some of the kids down there, to bring that excitement/culture up to the big club in the next little while.
