Re: Where to go in Mexico

The Cancun side during July/Aug is just starting into the hurricane season, so you may not get that great sunny weather (usually a day or two of short torrential downpour then clouds the rest of a 7 day stay). South of Cancun is Playa del Carmen - good restaurants, still has the great Caribbean side...

Re: GDT: Canucks @ Avalanche Nov 4, 2014 6 PM PST SNET

Watching the game from last night i pvr'd... I think Horvat actually touched that puck on that goal Dorsett got credit for. the puck leaves Dorsett's stick at a low angle but changes angle when it reaches Horvat and then changes again off Barrie's stick. If that was actually the case..would they eve...

Re: So, who would you like in a return for Luongo

Whether or not a deal actually happens with Washington, that's some serious mind-fracking with other teams who might be interested but aren't willing to pony up for Lu. Haha, the situation and events are rather amusing on their own, but this is VERY amusing if this is a calculated troll on MG's part.

Re: CANUCKS SIGN UFA JASON GARRISON

Maybe a gamble but less of one than signing Schultz. For all we know, Schultz could end up to be another Fabian Brunstrom and while his cap hit is negligible, if we had signed him it probably would have left Garrison for some other team to pick up. Let's wait to see what this means. Too hard to spe...

Basically MG gave him an almost exact contract he gave Juice.

Nice to have a BC boy actually want to play here... takes the sting outta yesterday.

In the pic on TSN looks like he's wearing number 52?

Sad to see Sami go, but he really seemed to have lost a step.

I just keep waiting for MG to make some magic happen. So far... nothing.

Have to agree.
The longer it went on, the more it seemed like it might be Coho part deux.

Re: Offseason Wheelings and Dealings

agreed, thankfully this saga is over. I'll admit I'm a bit disappointed - I kinda thought the kid would sign with the Canucks in a karmic reversal for the loss of Bourdon, but i guess not. It will be interesting to see how he's treated when he does eventually play here as a visitor. "Rome is the mob...

Kesler's Injury

Hey all, Just saw something posted up on CDC re: Kesler's shoulder/arm. Apparently he posted a picture of himself via Twitter which shows that his shoulder is in a sling, but he also has a cast on his forearm. The fanny pack has a portable iv pump for pain Mëds. I wonder if his pre-op imaging showed...
