Re: GDT: Canucks @ Ducks - RSN @ 19:00PST

Goldy with 11 pts in 10 past games. Nikolay Goldobin on pace for 14 goals and 38 assists, 52pts at this rate by seasons end, pretty good numbers for a guy making $863K per year, should get all his performance bonuses slightly over $200k. Sam Gagner showing nice veteran presence with the puck, I know...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Ya'll were hating on Virtanen all these years now he's developed basically, now it's whose the next guy to lay your hate on I see. :hmmm: Juolevi hasn't even played one NHL game yet - as the team is not rushing him (they learned), so let the kid develop, OJ will be a great addition to the team that ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

lol udl.

And blob, as proven time and time again, not EVERY player develops at the same rate, especially dmen and goalies, with notable mention to power forwards, plus add in the Euro factor that adds a bit of time as well.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Skyo that sounds like confidence building horseshit fed to the press. The reality is he isnt that good. I'll take the managers opinion who actually is invested in the team and it's players, as the development/GM guy wouldn't just say bullshit for nothing, it's his job to be unbiased and professiona...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

The odds are yes^ Top defenceman Alex Edler (knee) and backup goalie Anders Nilsson (broken finger) are on Canucks' 3-game trip to California and could play. darryl keeping: Nikolay Goldobin now has 9 points (2G,7A) in his last 9 GP. He's leading the #Canucks in: - Primary Shot Contributions - Assis...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Hopefully Juolevi will get a chance this season to play some games. I think he will in February+ Sounds like everyone just wants OJ to get #1 Dman minutes in Utica playing in all situations. Some quotes from the Comets GM Johnson: Ryan Johnson: I'm not a huge fan of the "are they ready or are they ...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

like nearly every player on the time if you get a good offer you have to consider it. This team should only have a few untouchables. my sources all say the same thing. The Canucks do track him; they would welcome him back; he has to want to come back and get himself back here , that is they are not...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

From some guy on The Athletic Janik Beichler June 2018: Nikita Tryamkin via email: "I looked after the #Canucks all season. It was easy because of the time difference – 12 hours from Vancouver to Yekaterinburg. I wake up and watch the games, highlights. I’m still interested how the team plays. Would...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Nov7, 2018 via Sportsnet650, Jim Benning on Tryamkin: We haven't closed that door. I'm in constant communication with his agents in North America & Russia to keep tabs on him. We're hoping at some point he decides he's going to come back. For a guy his size he's a good skater & can play in today's s...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Not seeing it with Puljujarvi. They say he’s so dumb he’s borderline special needs. The Finn GM in Columbus wanted no part of him or Juolevi. Edmonton and Vancouver should have gone “hm, interesting. Why?” There are a couple reason's Jarmo didn't take Puljujarvi, one is the BJ's really needed a cen...

Re: Canucks Young Guns

Gadjo just turned 20, he'll need a couple years of AHL to be effective, next offseason he can muscle up and work on his power skating.
