Re: 2019 UFA

Eberle easily would be the teams 4th best scoring forward by a landslide I bet, a 1 yr prove it deal would be superb for JE. Eberle will rebound on a new team and Horvat can stop playing with scrubs for line mates for once. My question on this Skyo is why would he go for a one year deal in Vancouve...

Re: 2019 UFA

I don’t go a penny over 6 for Myers. Gardiner- yuck Eberle- yuck Kick the tires on Stralman. Make an offer to Karlsson. Make a serious pitch to Ferkland Simmons- yuck Jeff Skinner ?? Whats happening with Horvats production? Has he been run down or is there an injury? He seems to be notably slower t...

Re: 2019 UFA

Eberle is too slow. Team needs to get quicker I've been holding on to this. https://thehockeywriters.com/edmonton-oilers-jordan-eberle-problem/ The team needs scoring. I would entertain Eberle on a one-year, show me you still got it, deal. There's no risk for the Canucks. It's a Vanek-esque low ris...

Re: 2019 UFA

Dzingel will get overpaid imo, he's 27 and has just reached 50pts for the first time. But a guy underrated this july 1st is Eberle , having his worst season at a poor time, but that doesn't mean he's done, only 28, has been 20+ goal scorer, 50-60pt guy for the majority of his career. I'd try to sign...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

I'd say Marner settles just under Matthews, but more than Tavares - @ $11.15M - $11.5M ish AAV

Tryamkin is probably the only one who can injure Chara aha

Players bounce off NT and get injured lol.

Here he is crushing Pirri and then ragdolled 6'2 240lbs Stewart to the ground lol, man I miss the big brute.

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Canucks at 9th overall now in the draft & could win some more games with their new found confidence.

Could conceivably pick #9 - #13.

Turcotte, Zegras, Boldy, Newhook, Broberg, Soderstrom, Kaliyev, Seider. ..territory.

Edler giveth, Edler taketh away!

captain bo!

The penalty kill wizard Granlund who leads all forwards in short handed time on ice with his 10th goal.

Demko looks solid in net.

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Pettersson rookie year has more points than Tavares rookie year. 5th overall pick Petey: 62gp, 27g, 33a, 61pts - .98ppg. 1st overall pick Tavares: 82gp, 24g, 30a, 54pts - .66ppg. And Petey could very well pass Matthews rookie year pts with 9 games in hand. 1st overall pick Matthews: 82gp, 40g, 29a, ...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Getting rid of Alzner, adding a forward who has done well with Claude is the main objective. 6'2 207lbs swift of foot Ben Hutton who was eating up minutes this season avg 22:33 TOI per, was gonna having a solid year points prior to injury - isn't cheap to get, he should net a top 6 forward. If not a...

Re: 2019 UFA

I wouldn't chase any UFA's... Because they are always an overpayment and not sure why some think that this time they will be good value?... I'd rather go the weaponizing our cap space route and look to making a trade with teams up against the cap, ie Tampa or teams who do buy UFA's needing to shed ...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Montreal will add a top 4 LD in the summer the rumour mongers have said. So if you are looking for a straight hockey deal the Canucks & Habs should be able to help each other out, while moving a couple contracts neither team likes. With the Habs looking for a top 4 LD this offseason, while the Canuc...

Ferland has 101 pims over the past three years. Wilson has 101 pims this season. And even with all that time pent in the box, right now Wilson plays almost 4 minutes more per night. He's also a cup champion and a playoff performer. Oh, and Ferland plays 2:09 on the PP per game (Wilson is at 1:20). ...
