Re: Canucks Young Guns

Then heres to seeing him next fall. Well I could foresee us protecting Hughes, Juolevi, and Tryamkin Ryan Biech is an astute hockey fella and reads all the CBA, NHL rules yada yada, he says Hughes will not have to be protected if he plays under 11 games THIS NHL season. So that's my story ...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

So Toronto has a pair of swedish dmen that would slide awefully well into vancouvers mandate to be a top tier skilled outfit in a couple of years. The one who isnt liljegren is the better prospect i believe...samberg? Yeah, Sandin is doing well (early though) in the AHL, but Liljegren is struggling...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Sutter ain't going nowhere, we don't have a cap issue and center depth is paramount for a team's success, Sutter/Beags patrol a solid bottom six group, move out wingers and depth dmen if you want to create cap.

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

I still maintain Adam Gaudette will be better off as a top 6 RW beside Horvat, both have a good motor to keep going and attacking the net - complimentary skill sets.

Re: Canucks Contracts

Horvat and notably Boeser not producing points while Petey is injured is good ammo for management and not so good ammo for Boeser's agent. Noticing Brock not making smart plays sometimes, not the best defensively, he lost his power skating a bit & his scoring ability is down without Petey - which wi...

Wild trade Nino Niederreiter to the Hurricanes for Victor Rask, first big trade of the year.

LeBrun:
Hurricanes still hope to go out and get another top 6 forward before Feb 25 and use a d-man to do it.

Re: Canucks Young Guns

Biech: Michigan took a big hit as their No. 1C is out for season. They’re under .500 & only so much return of Q. Hughes can do. Highly unlikely they make Regionals so could be Hughes time later this year. Would hope he plays under 11 games to keep him expansion draft exempt. Q. Hughes team lost the...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Who do you think they’re moving? Can’t see them moving Pietro , Parayko or Tank They might try to trade for a goalie like Bobrovsky, Howard. pawn off JBo (w/retention) for whatever or Gunnarsson. Petro and Schenn have one year left and could be massively expensive to re-sign, they could deal them, ...

Re: Kero time in Vancouver

Tanner Kero has been called up Our new hero lol. likely does not see playing time. Bo is questionable for next game Still somewhat odd though when Gaudette ia already an NHL center. Shocked they allowed Bo to come back last night. Must have quickly deemed it not too serious, (one would think). Wait...

:hmmm: the Blues are in the same glorious playoff race Vancouver is in. I doubt Armstrong takes a blow torch to the team I don't really care, I'm just relaying what the nhl analysts are saying about the Blues, they don't look all stanley cup conteder worthy enough with all their vets though, dontch...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Be as it may, the Blues haven't been awesome enough to keep all the players, they acquired a ton of veterans and their team flopped, missed playoffs last year had a rough first half of this season overall.

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Im with ya corn. Enoughs enough. Ferkland would be my target and i might part with more to add him to peteys line. Seeing as this kid is our franchise i could get behind moving something significant out...provided we can sign him right away Crosby came into the league a tank. Kane is a better compa...

Re: Canucks Young Guns

I'll go check out the Woo for everyone tonight! And on Jan 24th, should see how this dude Brett Leason does for the Prince Albert Raiders, #20. 19th, PA is running away with the West. They have a really strong team! Should be there for that one as well. Woo had a great game, that being said the Roc...
