Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

10 wins right now after 22 games and that's with a injury riddled team, if the team can get some health, they could in theory get around 40 wins. Which would put them in the low 80's for points. ;) I'd guess high 80's - like 89, speaking of which... Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning ann...

Re: Canucks Goaltending Issue

Can't wait till HOPEFULLY Demko and DiPietro are ready for some NHL action someday.
Canucks have dropped to 30th in both total goals allowed (73) & goals against/game (3.48).

Road trip wasn’t kind to them with MIN scoring 6 and BOS/NYI scoring 5

Re: Canucks Young Guns

The future Hansen - Lockwood with a 4 point night! Chris Peters: Four-assist game for Will Lockwood (VAN) as Michigan tops Penn State 6-4. Lockwood up to 11 points in 10 GP after missing most of last year. Goal from Josh Norris (OTT) as he extended his team lead to 14 points. Quinn Hughes (VAN) adde...

And the trades keep rolling along. OFFICIAL: #NYR have acquired Ryan Strome from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for Ryan Spooner. Strome to NYR has a 3.1 million dollar cap hit. Spooner to the Oilers has a 4 million dollar cap hit. *NYR retained $900k of Spooner's contract* so even cap swap 3.1-3.1

Re: Injury Update.

Regarding Baertschi there is strong concern that he could be out a long time. There is some talk that he could contemplate a return to Europe next year but that perhaps is his frustration. Each concussion for him has been progressively worse and easier to get. As things stand right now I’d consider...

Classic one for one change of scenery deal - Hagelin for Pearson, Kings just wanted to move on from Pearson and it's a cap move as they can let Hagelin go after the season while trying to remain competitive this season. Pens likely get a better Pearson playing beside who else? none other than Crosby...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Looks like the year of the centers this draft and RW. Some of the notable dmen (copied notable notes): 6'1 Bowen Byram LD QB type 6'3 Philip Broberg LD, seems ranked top 15 or under in all mock drafts, is big but is a great skater, mobile, smart skilled and physical, could rise up by the draft, too ...

Yeah Goldy only leads the team in assists with 8 so far might have something to do with line mates Make that everything. Roussel would have as many points as, and more goals than Goldobin if he got that much time playing with Pettersson, and he would at least provide some protection. Ah the ol' Gra...

Goldy is creative and speedy enough to make plays out there to keep up, you think Archibald would be pop gunning moves with dekes and edges with some give and go's out there? lol nah.

Re: Canucks @ Sabres. 10am pst snw snp

Yeah Goldy only leads the team in assists with 8 so far, he just needs to get a lucky goal to get going scoring wise as he's 4th on the team in shots.

He has a creative game which helps him playing with someone like EP.

The shootout tho TG needs to refine.

Re: Canucks @ Sabres. 10am pst snw snp

Woo! I knew once Virtanen stopped hitting all those billions of posts/crossbars he'd start getting those goals.

Eriksson the wily ol' vet on a roll.
