Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition

Lots of respect for the Sabres fans who sang oh Canada when the anthem singers Mike shat itself. With all the bullshit lobbed at Canada from the current administration it's heartwarming to see the good side of our long standing brotherhood that should could and will endure once these jackasses are ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Sad to hear. I still wonder why he was removed from our broadcast and I'm pretty sure he was removed/didn't elect to leave.

I'm gonna baselessly blame the ownership just because they seem to be the reason for every other shit thing that happens in canuckland so why not this as well

The phones with "non-replaceable" batteries are in fact replaceable...just not by the user. It's purposely made difficult to replace to nudge you into another phone and that is disingenuous

Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition

I had to check the stats to see if Elias Lindholm was dressing for them. He's suffered a pretty significant decline since his time in Van already (if anyone recalls he was maybe our best forward in the playoffs). That must be disturbing for the Bruins

That one is seriously gorgeous. I'm not usually into the Latin types like the Ratster is but damn if I haven't recalibrated with this one.

Re: 2026 NHL Draft

The big question is about his skating. Verhoeff moves fairly well once he's in-stride, but the footwork is awkward and inefficient. He gets caught flatfooted in neutral ice too often and his pivots are slow , leading to him getting beat up on transitions too often. Sounds like Topper analyzing ...

Re: 2026 NHL Draft

Ultimately I think we are discussing semantics here. There is no clear cut top dog in this draft. All of them are maybes in one manner or another. Turn the fucking failure page, the book is getting boring. Pick the Canadian (out of the 1/2 option being dicussed) and try something else.... ...or go ...

Re: 2026 NHL Draft

The article describes McKenna as slower, weaker, has a shittier shot than Stenberg but sees the ice and distributes pucks like a star. I dunno man....that's tough. We were also talking about stenberg at 2 or 3 and you wouldn't want him there. That's what I'm saying is crazy when he's clearly the ...
