Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO
I read that Jersey is shopping Hall. Just to get in front of that, make sure everyone says HARD NO to a Late 20's, career peaked, soon-to-be UFA who will be looking for an 9-10million (ish) salary. Not saying he won't have a couple good years, just saying those years best not be here. Between cap r...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
The sad part of this whole thing is that Arizona is seen as a more desirable place to play than Vancouver, and if the rumors were true and it was Gud going the other way I would have happily done that trade.

Re: The Rebuild...
Except he isn't a power forward. Never really was. He overpowered some tiny kids in junior but when he met his match against men he changed his style. Either that or his shoulder is so damaged he can't play a physical game. Either way at this point he is a long shot to make much of an impact in the...

Re: Canucks Young Guns
I have been low on strome since junior. His playoff numbers were not great considering Mcdavid was doing all the heavy lifting and drawing all of the focus and top defenders.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Its odd that St Louis had to waive Rattie, and now San Jose has to waive Nieto, to get them on the farm team when neither have played for weeks, yet Toronto keeps being allowed to send Frank Corrado down on "conditioning stints" after keeping him in the press box and not for an injury. Mike Babcock...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Listening to Coiler radio and finding it interesting that the focus seems to be on how disappointing Milan Lucic has been here. Lots of discussion about how they expected him to be far more dominant and win all the battles...i guess Aaron was right about him  We may have dodged a boat anchor s...

Kopitar-lite at 6 for 6 would be welcome on any team in the league.

Kopitar takes butt end to the face by Reeves, out with upper body injury. NHL calling it an inadvertent head shot, whatever that means. http://video.kings.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=864560&lang=en Anyone who has played any hockey ever could tell you that was an accidentally on purpose move. I doubt LA will get any favors after bringing Voynov out for a team skate or practice when he was on league suspension.
