Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

And, in the end, Gillis and Tallon will figure out a fair price. Lou is still a top 10 goaltender for at least another 4 years. That's gold to teams that have been suffering with poor goaltending. He has value Rummy. There's no doubt Luongo is gold. Good hockey people should know this but his contr...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

I still think a package like Matthias and Petrovic can be had. Hope you're right, that would be a great deal for us. I sort of see it the same way Rummy does, the Canucks were willing to move him for two 2nds at the deadline so teams probably aren't offering a whole lot more at this point unless, l...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

HW's little inside nuggets alone have elevated the value of this here hockey board. At this point, cap space and a couple late round picks is about as good as it gets. When Luo goes on to play lights out for whatever team gets him, a long list of other suitors will be holding their dicks knowing the...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

He may be a little slow for our forward group but I'd love to have him on a wing with Schroeder and Raymond. ... He won't bring a home run return, a couple of picks and maybe a prospect. But if there is a team that sees him as the missing piece then he could get a decent return. I would gladly take...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

I want change, but I have a feeling that the changes won't be drastic enough. As long as Feaster is the GM, big a re-build isn't happening. He's never been a draft and development guy, and his end of year press conference re-enforced it. He more or less downplayed the importance of high draft picks...

Even players on the clean-cut Packers were knee-deep in the NFL lifestyle. What I would pay to see a HBO style behind the scenes of the Cowboys though. The stories Irvi...

Re: NFL Thread: Thoughts on the game south of the 49th

It's the life I was aiming for... Weren't we all...at some point? (sans the drugs, other than ganja, but that's not performance enhancing) In some ways, the NFL has likely come a long way, now it's money bounties, not illicit materials/activities. If this investigation was done 20-30 years ago, we'...

Re: NFL Thread: Thoughts on the game south of the 49th

This bounty gate isn't going away any time soon.

With this piece of audio, you'd have to think the legal authorities, who are chomping at the bit to take advantage of a highly public story, will find a way to drag this into court.
