No doubt, why we had a brainiac in here a while back trying to quantify mentoring ability!

Had to punt his nerd ass all the way back to Hell...
Seriously?

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 17-18 Sponsored by

You use statistical analysis to model the numbers and read the story they tell. Most of the fancy stat guys instead come up with an idea, then comb the numbers and stats to find a glimpse of support. The other thing is, stats fall apart at their edges. The premise behind all this is that shots equa...

Re: 2016 Free Agency Frenzy

LOL. Everything JB does is terrible. He acts decisively, fills a huge need with Gudbranson and everyone complains about giving up a 2nd. Look at what "real" GMs are doing on July 1st. Almost all these deals are awful but that's the market rate. If he doesn't jump into the FA pool to snag a scorer, ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Having done the ex-pat thing....the tax is on where the benefit of the work is received. Not where payment is received. In a nutshell, the tax jurisdiction is where the work is performed, not where you live or get paid. The Toronto Maple Leaves are receiving the benefit of not having Nonis in the o...

Yeah, it's like posting that Josh Holden will be the next Leader/Captain of the Canucks future
Holden had all the tools. Except for the grey matter to pull it all together.

Re: Too much depth down the center

Most of our centres can play wing. Ratski is having most of the fun. Carlee is going to get himself killed. I light most of my cigars with hundred-dollar bills. :mex: 212KPH never felt so smooth. The Turbo is one fine piece of ass. Anyway. I am actually ok with our second line with the exception of...

Re: Canucks Training Camp 2014 - News and Notes

Semantics and analogies aside.... what were we talking about again? :mex: I'll just say right here and now that I'll have Mr Kassian on my team every day of the week. Top 6, well we'll see, bottom 6, fine by me. $1.75m cap-hit for the next two years is just fucking awesome by me. I can see folks pi...

Re: Summer rides

So I have owned the porsche for like 3 weeks now. Wow what an amazing car to drive everyday. It is a 2002, but I crush Camaro SS's. Corvettes are closer and I lost to a Callaway Corvette. I crushed a 335i, it was close on the start but once my turbos spooled it was all over. But straight line speed ...

Re: Israeli–Palestinian conflict

Jerusalem is mentioned in the bible, and no where in the Quran. The Israelis are fighting for their home. The Palestines are fighting because that's what they do. I buy Sabra Hummus, own a Tar-21 and support Israel 100%. Does Israel seem to ignore the conventions of modern warfare? I think so, but t...

Re: Canucks Training Camp 2014 - News and Notes

I see Island Nuck is gonna keep that rope might slack on Kassian this year. It's time for Zack to take the next step, he's a fucking vet now, pretty much. If he doesn't improve on his inconsistency this year he most likely never will. I totally agree. I really like Kassian's game when he is going. ...

Re: Canucks Training Camp 2014 - News and Notes

It would be super if the name calling and other petty bullshit would cease so those of us that do not live on the left coast can get some Canucks insights. Is Kassian actually working out there or is it more of his laziness? I have hopes for that guy but he needs to put some ass into it, so to speak...

Re: Summer rides

I was at http://www.exoticsracing.com/ on Thursday. I highly recommend you go if you find yourself in the cesspool known as Las Vegas. I drove a Ferrari F430, 911 Turbo S, Audi R8 and the GTR. Most fun was the F430, best handing and drivability was the Turbo, the R8 was fun and pretty easy to drive....
