Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Canucks aren't playing video games so they're trolling Matheson in their spare time now.

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

I won’t be surprised if we see a different player in Petterson when he comes back, and not for the better. Confidence is a funny thing, Elias had a lot of it, let’s see how much of it he has left when he returns. He will be fine. He is tiny though. His dad looks like a big strapping guy so maybe he...

I have a 2018 Toyota Coralla, can I join the group?
No. You can't even spell your crappy car correctly.

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

The Pettersson incident isn't getting the Canucks much respect is some quarters. Some find it amusing. Calgary’s Sportsnet 960 radio, launched a contest Monday morning asking listeners to “name the finishing move Matheson used on Patterson". The winning suggestion receives tickets to a 'Pizza Pigou...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Experience with the concussion protocol last June after my son crashed and broke his helmet. Big thing is, you don't know what the effects will be. All you do is slowly, step wise increase brain activity as long as the patient is feeling better. At any point, if symptoms return, it is back to squar...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Canadian media, Vancouver and Ottawa are in Canada. There have been plenty of murmuring of meddling owners in Edmonton and Toronto over the years as well. But I'm telling you, fans everywhere inevitably complain or suspect the owners a meddling too much. Calgary And how about having an internal cap...

Re: My Truck...

Damn, I knew the GM at Toyota in Langley and always got good service! Still like the 2016 Taco, versatile truck that was all I needed. Finding now I want something bigger that can tow. Have a small trailer and even that taxes the Taco on the Coq and other interior Hwys. Likely pick up a diesel next ...

Re: Goaltending

Marky is getting ventilated, if the same happens to Demko no one will bat an eye . If Demko has a little more success the pressure is on Markstrom I respectfully have to disagree on that bolded point. This market, which i contend has one of the worst sports fan bases around, love to eat their own y...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

I'm curious as to who said we are demoting or sending Brock down for anything but a conditioning stint? That's exactly what I read everyone implying. Let him get into game shape! The speed at which he's moving out there right now he's far more likely to get injured again playing in the fastest leagu...

Re: Goaltending

Honestly, we have what we have between the pipes - like it or lump it. Until our blueline gets better, I wouldn't throw Demko to the wolves this season, not even as a backup. I disagree, I don't think it's throwing him to the wolves. There's no expectations this season, just to get younger and deve...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Reef, the problem with this is you need a trading partner. Teams are very reluctant to give up good defensemen because they know their value! Give him time, we don't need hime right now. If he helps strengthen our defensive core when we are back into the playoffs he will be invaluable. Look how qui...

Imagine this d group minus Tanev  Doubt that happens There’s a wizard on this board that thinks the D is just fine. It’s all the coaches fault I honestly cant think who has a weaker d league wide Blob. Theres help coming but right now its all stems and seeds For all the folks here who’ve hacke...

Re: Goaltending

I'd honestly rather live with the Demko learning curve than see the same shit we saw the past couple years with the guaranteed one weak goal per game from Markstrom. No, the porous defense isn't helping but the shitty rebounds and first shot goals are getting tiresome. It's always been an issue with...
