Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Gagner has 6 points in 5 games with the Marlies (and is -4 to boot). Maybe, with enough injuries in the league , someone decides to make Benning an offer ??? I wouldn’t count on it Which part? The "enough injuries" part, or "make Benning an offer" part? I mean, I can always dream the leaves suffer ...

Switch goalies after every goal allowed. Keep 'em on their toes.

I thought we may have seen something from Edler.
Edler is not that type of player
Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Re: Tracking the top Centre

Just thought that it should be publically stated that not only is Pettersson now the top centre on the Canucks. He is the greatest all time centre to ever play for the Canucks. Evidence is as follows: 1. He has the highest scoring percentage of all time among Canuck centres. 2. He has the best shot...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

I just read an article on guys who are not in the NHL today, but still being paid. It was a top 25, and had another few guys who didn't make the list. It just goes to show you every team tends to have a few of these guys. Benning is no better, and no worse than other GMs with respect to this issue. ...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

I think Boeser will be just fine once he gets his legs under him. Today’s goal was a beUty and I think will help him regain confidence and form. But what I want to see from him is him showing up to camp next year fully engaged and fully prepared. My bet, he does. So long term I’m not worried. I am ...

Re: Goaltending

If their contracts were equal I’d probably take Miller. But the guy is 38. He’s done. You act like they were the salad days when he was here. The team still stunk! Either way this team needs five new D men and a goalie. Well, I don't know about 5 D-men. The good news is we do have 2 solid D-man, an...

Coach Green says Schaller and Hutton are in. / Motte and Del Zotto, , are out.
It has to happen. Greene has to get everyone into the games early this season.
But, there goes our 2 game - same line-up streak.

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Being given a chance Leipsic Motte (rookie status) Goldobin I’d rather they pick up Lazar off waivers and give him a chance than any of the three listed above. After the wonderful pre-season, isn’t it time to put in some waiver claims? While there is a chance that none of those 3 stick with the clu...

Leaves have cut Carrick, Pickard and McElhinney.

Which means Marincin, Sparks and Gauthier have made the Leaves.
Canucks should waive Biega (sent to utica) and pickup right shot Carrick.

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Please name the 13 players who had NMC. Other than the twins I know of no others. There wer guys with NTC. Elmer had no problem getting value for Garrison and Bieksa. Kesler has a full NTC and he was traded. Who exactly were these players that were handcuffing Ignitowski and preventing a rebuild. D...

Re: Canucks camp & preseason 2018/2019

Your a good guy and a good poster Todd but I seriously disagree with almost everyone's depiction of what the minor league, (AHL), really is. What I call it is a necessary evil. Make no mistake about it, the speed is slower the game in general is slower, but line changes still happen the same way so...

Gaunce clears waivers.
Not surprising, all fan bases thinks their players are better than they are.
Regarding Gaunce, the other 30 team's fan bases are right !!!!
