Re: A Rudderless Ship

Jesus, are you really that thick? It's business. That is all. If it is entertainment then change the channel, watch something else. Pick another movie if that one sucks. Pick another team, be a bandwagoneer for all we care. If you are a true loyal fan you abide by your team through the shyte times ...

Re: Dining in Vancouver

Once again, incredible sashimi feast at Ajasai. The dry squid on their special sheet may be the best prep of squid I have ever had. Yeah, every single time I come home from a work trip or any trip where sushi isn't at par like it is in Vancouver, namely fucking disgusting crap they try to pass off ...

"Don't Push Me" - John Tortorella

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LprzxFAoH9w

Pass it to Bulis, Vancouver Sun and Yahoo hockey did up this video.

Made me chuckle. With the way the team has been playing a smile/laugh here and there isn't a bad thing to have

2-1 Preds on the PP. It's a Preds team w/o Rinne. WTF Canucks?

Brian Burke being Brian Burke. He will defend his team whether they were right or wrong. Deep down inside he is probably wishing he was still the GM of this team ;)

Re: Heritage Classic Thread (March 2, 2014 vs Ottawa)

The Heritage Classic is not a Canucks event but rather an NHL so, as Donny said, it's not our season ticket packages. However, the advanced sale for those game tickets were about $300 a piece and in a corner and a little too low to see the game (the ones I was assigned anyway). It kind of pissed me ...

Re: NFL Thread: Thoughts on the game south of the 49th

I'm the lone wolf on this, and I like that way. Been a Broncos fan since I was 9. As a former AFC rival, I've always had a dislike for the Seahawks. All my football teams wear orange. ;) GO BRONCOS! http://a57.foxnews.com/global.fncstatic.com/static/managed/img/2013/10/01/660/371/092313-NFL-Denver-B...

Re: Canucks News and Notes

According to Sullivan, Stanton is apparently back in the line-up tonight. I guessing Weber will be the one out.

Re: Milan Lucic involved in Bar Fight in Vancouver

There seem to be a lot of assumptions about this. In the video, Lucic asked a guy if he knows who he is. The altercation may be the result of a drunk's head being too large, & have little to do with hockey loyalties. A spoiled child spouts off about how hard done he is, & quickly lays blame to focu...

Judging by that music in the background (Tom Petty's "Free Falling") I am guessing The Roxy because there is no other bar on a Saturday night, on Granville Street, that would play music for 40somethings.

Re: GDT: 14-Dec-2013 - Canucks vs. Bruins: 7:00 PM PST on C

Lotusblossom, Why don't you post on the forums anymore? In all honesty, GM (I'm guessing it's you) I just haven't felt like posting here. Life got busy. But I have skimmed over stuff from time to time on the hockey forums. I always enjoyed many of the opinions of certain posters on these boards. Bu...

Re: GDT: 14-Dec-2013 - Canucks vs. Bruins: 7:00 PM PST on C

Great reading this GDT, great to see many of the old crew still posting on here. Hope all is well, everyone. I hope they start Lack. Lu hasn't faired too well versus the Wild and it would be a good game to see Lack play in. All my thoughts about this game are in the blog for CC. Biggest highlight fo...

Re: Dining in Vancouver

.... On a side note. I don't like the current fad of landscape plating. disjointed scatterings of little picture perfect bites around the plate. Nor am I a fan of the overly thick sauces that have more of a puree consistency to them. I wasn't a fan of the high tower piled up plate with six differen...

Re: Summer Movies...what are you gonna see?

We just get crazy charged up the wazoo here...and since I can't stand whiny little kids in theatres, I opt for VIP paying an extra $7 more so the adults can watch a movie in comfy chairs and in peace. Too bad in BC the theatre itself isn't licensed like some of the other provinces that have the VIP...
