Re: Only 99 days
Lol raising taxes. With the Libs in control we have some of the lowest income taxes in the country. The NDP will fuck that all up. I guess if you make 30k a year it's great Even if that were true and not so completely out of context, it says a lot about your character that you care more that you mi...

Re: It's getting warm
The larger point was that ... in the grand scheme of things... Yes - the eons and epochs and ages and geological forces, etc. Yep, I get that. But again, it just seems like you don't care about whatever effect man DOES have on the planet. Has CO2 been higher? Yep. Has it risen as quickly in the pas...

Re: It's getting warm
Corn, that is the laughable part of the climate charge alarmists. They keep saying they are trying to save the planet. The planet will carry on very well thank you and so will life on Earth. Species die off. When I lived in Vancouver I used to tell people that I'm not going to Disneyland, I'm waiti...

Re: It's getting warm
Being skeptical with the notion that humans are causing disastrous levels of “global warming” or “climate change” is like disagreeing with abortion. Society doesn’t like dissension. Follow the herd or be ostracized.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Gagner, Del Zotto and Nilsson would all be reasonable signings given the team's needs, assuming contract terms aren't out of hand. 2-3 year deals would be great.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Anybody else think it's awful nice of McDavid not do demand the cap max salary ($15M per year)?
Over the course of that contract, a $13.25M cap hit is going to look like a damn steal for Edmonton.

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka
In fairness to Elliott, the Flames folded like a cheap tent in the 3rd and OT and were getting abused like a rental car by guys like old man Bieksa.

Re: The Rebuild...
It's actually funny reading some people screaming for a rebuild but can't recognize that's exactly what Benning has been doing. But I guess if he called it a rebuild instead of a transition it would change everything he has done. I... don't really get this either. What's left to rebuild? The Sedin'...

Re: The Rebuild...
This Canucks fan base is such a group of complainers. Can’t see the forest from the trees, led by the losers at TSN 1040. The only guys worth listening to on that station are Ferraro, Price and Patterson. Bob McKenzie the other day was saying that making the playoffs three years ago was the worst th...

Yes, why did Montreal want PK gone so bad?
PK is a fan favourite in Montreal and has embraced the city like crazy.
Bergevin is getting roasted for this. This trade doesn't really make any sense from Montreal's perspective.

It's also quite hard to become a non-resident of Canada. Does Nonis still own a home in Canada? Does he have any dependents in Canada? Does he have Canadian bank accounts, drivers license, etc.? Does he own any personal property in Canada? Has he severed all social ties in Canada? Yes there are reci...

Re: NHL business
TSN's production value still blows SN out of the water. I'm frankly quite surprised SN hasn't poached anybody really from TSN.Blob Mckenzie wrote:They should poach James Duthie and Chris Cuthbert from TSN.
TSN does a better job with CFL broadcasts than Rogers does with hockey.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
That's a big raise for a guy who will be 32 when that deal kicks in and has been in decline since 2011.
The Ducks are well on course to have their own stale core in 2 or 3 years.
