I'd honestly be fine with these guys being re-configured into the ring of honour. Up our standards a bit.
Unfortunately, I think we have to kind of wait until they are dead before we can do that.

Re: So long, farewell, good bye to the Sedins

I wasn’t expecting to be this sad. I’m torn on the another year or two thing. For most of the year, I was convinced they would come back on one or two year deals. Sometime around January it really hit me that this could be it. On the one hand, for better or for worse, this is Bo and Brock’s team now...

I can't wait to read Boeser's blog post on CDC about the home opener. Super stoked to watch Derek Dorsett, Sam Gagner and Alex Burmistrov tonight.

Sitting Boeser makes me want to puke. He's one of a handful of players I am actually excited to watch this season.

Re: 2017/18 Pacific Division

I'm confused as to why you all are comparing the 2011 team, which was unarguably one of the best teams in the league, with the clearly rebuilding 2017 team. It's like comparing a completed house renovation with a house that has been torn down to the studs, has no windows and is missing its roof.

Lol raising taxes. With the Libs in control we have some of the lowest income taxes in the country. The NDP will fuck that all up. I guess if you make 30k a year it's great Even if that were true and not so completely out of context, it says a lot about your character that you care more that you mi...

The larger point was that ... in the grand scheme of things... Yes - the eons and epochs and ages and geological forces, etc. Yep, I get that. But again, it just seems like you don't care about whatever effect man DOES have on the planet. Has CO2 been higher? Yep. Has it risen as quickly in the pas...

Re: 2017 Development Camp

If Trevor won the draft lottery and won Matthews, Laine or McDavid, we'd be a darling of the league and he'd look like a damn genius. Shanahan wouldn't look so shit hot if he still had Kadri as his #1 center. In typical Canucks fashion, we have to do things the long and hard way and probably have to...

The Horvat trade will go down as one of the best trades in Canucks' history. By far the best trade Gillis ever made.

Re: It's getting warm

Corn, that is the laughable part of the climate charge alarmists. They keep saying they are trying to save the planet. The planet will carry on very well thank you and so will life on Earth. Species die off. When I lived in Vancouver I used to tell people that I'm not going to Disneyland, I'm waiti...

Being skeptical with the notion that humans are causing disastrous levels of “global warming” or “climate change” is like disagreeing with abortion. Society doesn’t like dissension. Follow the herd or be ostracized.

Re: Canucks News and Notes 2016/17

Basically the opinion of the signings is they are fair signings for decent players at a decent term, and would be good deals for anyone outside of Vancouver; but, Vancouver should be trying to purposefully lose like Toronto did to get Matthews. Of course there is no recognition that no matter how p...
