...maybe MG's bold plan is to compete with Toronto for Tavares? I haven't seen Tavares play that much, as most of you probably haven't either. I think this guy is not all he's cracked up to be. He can score like a mutha (at the junior level), but he's not a particularly well-rounded player. His ska...

Mason Raymon Ready?

Does everyone think that Mason Raymond is ready for a full time top 6 role on the team where he is counted on to produce ~ 20 goals, ~50-60 points? He will bring much needed speed to a top 6 with the Sedins and Bernier being relatively slow.

Interesting idea but I would only do it for a superstar forward in return. Superstar forward for a superstar goalie. One "crazy" idea could be dangling Luongo for a guy like Malkin. Crosby is number 1 in Pittsburgh and Malkin MAY want to go somewhere where he is number 1 himself (as he proved how go...

What about Nashville losing in only 5 games to San Jose...makes the Forsberg trade look a whole lot worse...

What about Josh Green? One of them will take Santala's place for sure.

I think Nazzy and Kesler had some good chemistry before he got hurt. It would be great to see if a fully healthy Kesler can light a fire under our captain.

I always thought Bieksa was still one of those "best kept secret" underrated players. How'd he get 4 votes? Bert and Yashin I can understand.

Colorado is now 6 points behind Calgary with 1 game in hand and 2 head-to-head match ups against them. It's still a long shot but makes for some interesting time for Calgary fans!

Another absolutely dirty play in the NHL!

Modanno also slashed Tootoo over the back with his stick (granted it was one handed).

I wonder if all these "incidents" would help in Bert's civil suit (i.e. this kind of stuff happens often in the NHL).

I'd be "interested" to hear what a Joe Sakic or a Rob Blake (was he still on the team?) or a Peter Forsberg would say if they were summoned to testify... I have a feeling that they will be sympathetic towards Bertuzzi (i.e. he's suffered enough, sucker punches are common and this incident was an ano...
